Thuróczy Bertalan
Biomedical engineer, longevity researcher, author
„From a village boy to a biomedical engineer, a story about the will to live.”
Bertalan Thuróczy is a biomedical engineer, longevity researcher and author. He grew up in Rákóczifalva, a village near Szolnok, and wanted to become an engineer and build something lasting from a very young age.
At 21 he was diagnosed with cancer. Surgery and chemotherapy followed, and with them the experience he describes as having no other choice but to face death. That turning point pushed him towards researching biosensors, health data and the science of a long, healthy life.
He writes about it in his books: 'Futni, hinni, élni' (Run, believe, live) tells his personal story, while 'Super sapiens' asks how far exponential technology can take human health and performance in a world full of digital noise. He also shares this knowledge through his FLOW channel.
In training he is the data person of the duo: measurement, protocols and recovery, endurance running as a practical longevity protocol rather than a theory.
